Sanuk Sensation

I'm sorry...I couldn't help myself. Here is a Polyvore design by Cassi. So cute! I love the Sanuks paired with a dress. I wish I had worn this outfit on Easter. Adorable! (oh yeah...Sanuk doesn't make size 12's. Totally lame!) But other than that side note, they are super cute. And the dress? Seriously, so adorable. Did I mention that I love Polyvore? :)

I have a new favorite time waster ~ Polyvore. This site lets you pick all of your favorite styles and turn them into outfits. You can upload pics of things that you like, or choose from their vast selection, and put together outfits based on style, color, and anything else you can think of. It is so much fun. But beware...it is a HUGE time sucker.

Now if only I was skinny enough (and young enough) to pull this off. Aw, a girl can dream. :)

Shoe of the Week

Dansko came out with a totally new style this year.  This sneaker inspired look has been a huge success.  "Who Knew?" is all I can say.  (At my house when something out of the ordinary happens "who knew" is our catch phrase.)  I really didn't expect people to jump on board so quickly.  Call me pessimistic - for some reason I thought Dansko shouldn't stray so far from their roots.  But I'm glad to say I was sooo wrong. 

The Sanibel Collection is so on fire that they are virtually sold out.  I cannot get any fill in orders until July.  EEK!

We work hard at Sole Obsession Footwear to keep up to date on the latest and greatest in the footwear industry.  Let me tell you, this is no small task.  Not only do the styles change faster than you can blink, the ideas, concepts, and construction behind the shoe changes too.  From super supportive to bare foot and everywhere in between, there is a lot to keep on top of.  One of the ways we stay "in the know" is by partnering with companies that are also keeping themselves up to date.

In our training we spent a lot of time learning about feet and how they function.  We learned how a foot looks when it is pronated, supinated, and netral.  We learned about the different types of foot problems that many people have and how Superfeet can help.  We practiced walking to show one another what our ankles and feet "do" while we walk so that we can identify different foot problems that may be undiagnosed.  In short, we did a lot of learning. 

Now we are ready to practice on YOU!
