Jambu

Jambu has come back with some great new styles for fall. A bit toned down but still the traditional look you'd expect. I am lovin' the real shearling bootie although I think you may have to see it to believe it. The picture does not do justice.

The boot craze continues...

Boots continue to be the hottest footwear on the market and the trend shows no sign of slowing. If you haven't jumped on board - its time. Boots are more casual for Fall 2011 but heels are still showing strong. The best part is that it looks like the styles run a big range so there is no worry that you may be behind in style. Biker inspired riding boots have taken the lead for style with suede slouch following right behind. If you're still worried about wearing suede in the northwest you will have to let go. Suede is HUGE in all styles of casual, dress, and boots this year. And rest assured suede can handle a lot more than you'd think. Plus for all of you who wear narrow or wide, Clarks has made some of their key styles in widths so there is hope for you. :)

There are some crazy new styles coming out for Fall 2011. What are your votes? Yes or no? Are they too wild? Bearpaw boots with a military edge, Bearpaw sheepskin with a lace up the back (probably not in blue), Sanuk surf slipper booties, and Dansko rain boots and rain shoes. I'd love to hear your thoughts. He was quite the trooper yesterday.
Now our biggest dilemma is that the bandage is "embarrassing."  :)
I guess Mom, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa are a difficult crowd to impress.

Portland update...already!

We made it to Sedro-Wooley and then enjoyed a detour to the hospital. 
Nothing like some excitement to start the day. My youngest needed to "Go" so we pulled off at McDonald's. I was in the ladies room and heard intense screaming from the boys room. Riley came out holding his finger which was really bleeding. I got in for a closer look and...the tip was cut about half way through.  He'd caught it in the hinge of the door. We headed to the ER and after removing half the finger nail, 6 stitches, and some xrays we are back on the road. Thankfully he is a strong and brave little man and didn't cry through any of it. The biggest disappointment is that he can't go swimming. :(. Life is rough. I'll post pics of the brave man later.
