La what?

La Niña, Shma Niña...

I am so over it!
I'm ready for some S-U-N!
Some sun that sticks around and won't let up.

In Shoe News...

Have you ever wanted to try on those crazy rocker shoes and see what they're all about?  Well we have them at Sole Obsession Footwear.  Aetrex's classic Mary Jane is built to redistribute your weight to rest on the middle of the foot rather than the heel or ball.  Although these and other rocker soled shoes are marketed as a strengthening and exercise enhancing product, the true beauty behind the design falls to those who have any type of toe or heel issues.

Suffering from neuropothay?
This style of shoe can help take the pressure off of your toes.
Arthritic toes?
Get some relief by not having to bend with the shoe as you walk.
Heel spurs?
Your heels don't ever feel the full weight of your body so you don't have to contend with the persistent pain.

While I have shared my doubts on the true muscle strengthening proponents of rocker soled shoes, I do believe they have a place in helping foot pain suffers get relief.  If that's you, stop in and try a pair on.  At the very least you'll have had a chance to see what all they hype is about.

*A few disclaimers:  rocker soled shoes are called un-stable because they are just that.  If you have severe pronation (aka "flat feet" or "fallen arches"), balance issues, or weak ankles this may not be the shoe for you.
