Keeping up to date and in the know

We work hard at Sole Obsession Footwear to keep up to date on the latest and greatest in the footwear industry.  Let me tell you, this is no small task.  Not only do the styles change faster than you can blink, the ideas, concepts, and construction behind the shoe changes too.  From super supportive to bare foot and everywhere in between, there is a lot to keep on top of.  One of the ways we stay "in the know" is by partnering with companies that are also keeping themselves up to date.

Superfeet is one of those companies.  They are always creating new products to help achieve the best in footwear comfort.  Superfeet's mission?  They understand that "everyone's feet are unique, and different activities demand different types of footwear.  Taking these variables into account, it is unrealistic to expect one insole to fit every shoe.  That's why Superfeet designs different insole models to improve the fit of all your footwear - whether you walk, run, ski, hike, skate or work all day on your feet."

Two weeks ago we had a Superfeet inservice at the store for all the staff.  With the knowledge of our Superfeet expert, Evan, we learned all about the new products Superfeet has created (the new Copper insole, the new Wooly insole for cold feet, and coming soon, Superfeet sandals) as well as had a refesher on what each of their products are for and how we can help customers get the right insole.

In our training we spent a lot of time learning about feet and how they function.  We learned how a foot looks when it is pronated, supinated, and netral.  We learned about the different types of foot problems that many people have and how Superfeet can help.  We practiced walking to show one another what our ankles and feet "do" while we walk so that we can identify different foot problems that may be undiagnosed.  In short, we did a lot of learning.

Now we are ready to practice on YOU!

Ask us to show you what pronation looks like on our new foot skeleton.  We would love to show off our new knowledge and see what Superfeet would work best for you.
